Membership Options at Moseley Tennis Club
Our social character displays in our membership options.
We aim to create different membership levels that are adjusted to your requirements.
If you or your family has been affected financially by COVID-19 and the economic impact it is causing, the club and its committee wants to make sure members do not have to rescind their membership. Members wishing to ask about financial support should contact Tracey Steele from club committee to discuss further.
Routes into playing tennis at MTC for New members
Beginners/Beginner Plus/Improvers PAYP coaching groups
Social Tennis
Performance/Team Tennis
If you are a beginner or returning after a long break, we recommend speaking to our Coaching team first. You do not have to become a member straight away, but instead you can pay and play in the beginner, beginner plus or improvers coaching groups until you and the coach feel you are ready to join the club and play with other members.
At this stage you have the option of becoming an off peak member and arrange your own games when the courts are not busy. Or you can become a full member.
If you have already played tennis you probably want to join as a full member, please contact Anima Thawait.
Once you are a full member you can then join the social tennis sessions and meet other members, be part of the respected WhatsApp groups to arrange your own games, play in the teams and tournaments.
Some strong players enjoy coming to the social tennis sessions, but they also want the opportunity to play/hit with other players of their level.
We will introduce you to people of a similar level for hitting, match practice, drills etc.
Features and prices of our different membership options are displayed below. Please note, that you can either pay the full annual amount, or spread the membership fee into monthly payments.

Social Tennis, Matches and Events
The fun way to stay fit, improve your skills and meet new people.
First and foremost, tennis is fun and we’re well known for our fun and friendly social tennis sessions, where dozens of members come together for a game, a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Tennis is a brilliant way to meet new people, and Social Tennis is the perfect place to start.
All members are welcome to join Social Tennis on Monday evening, Wednesday and Saturday afternoon. This will also help you to link in with other players of your level.
If you are interested, come along and join us for few games before deciding to become a member.
We look forward to seeing you real soon.
Arrange your own match
Our online booking system means it’s also easy to book a court and organise your own matches.
As a member of the Social Tennis Community you will be added to the Social Tennis WhatsApp group which makes it easy for you to reach out to other players.
Join our social events
Off the court, we’ve got a fantastic social side to the club, with regular events like curry nights, fireworks and Christmas parties.
Our internal club tournaments often turn into social club gatherings too. The annual Junior Club Championships for example, is famous for being an event for the entire family.
